undefined symbols - log_lik_gen

Although the library(optmum) is activated at the beginning; when i write:

{xout,fout,gout,cout} = optmum(&log_lik_gen,initials);

the warning "Undefined symbols: log_lik_gen" appears.   What can be the problem?

The first input to optmum is a pointer to a user-defined procedure that you want to minimize (optimize). The error 'Undefined symbols: log_lik_gen' means that the code you ran did not create the procedure 'log_lik_gen'. You need to add a procedure named 'log_lik_gen' that contains the function you would like to optimize in your main file.
