printing figures in GAUSS

I am trying to plot seven functions in one chart (using the xy(.,.) command). I want the background color to be white (and therefore I overrule the black default in "view" "options"). when I save the results as an encapsulated postscript, surprisingly, only the left half of the figure is printed?! When I save it as a windows bitmap and don't convert colors then the axes do not show?! How can I get a decent output with white background that prints the functions in color and save it as a pdf file?

Thanks.
