I'm using GAUSS LIGHT 9, and because I want to buy the maxlik package I've contacted Gauss Aptech who asked me to send them the serial number of the GAUSS LIGHT 9 so that they can give me the most appropriate version of it? how can I get that number? I've downloaded gauss light 9 from http://www.aae.wisc.edu/aae637/gausscode.htm

GAUSS Light is a version of GAUSS with some limitations that is free to all students. If you are a student you should contact customer service and tell them that you would like a copy of the latest version of GAUSS Light (which is much improved compared to GAUSS 9) and that you would like to purchase Maxlik.
