Controling the size or resolution of Gauss plots

When using plotXY(), Gauss produces high quality plots. But, something that I'd like to know is how to reduce the size/resolution of the plots. When copying and pasting the produced Gauss plots into Word, I unfortunately have not been able to send the Word document with all Gauss plots, because the size/resolution of the wonderful plots is too high. How can I control (reduce) their size/resolution before copying and pasting them into another document (e.g. Microsoft Word)? Thanks!
