I would like GAUSS to automatically save all of the edits to my file when I hit the run button. How can I do this?

From the main application menu, select: Tools->Preferences->Command. Towards the bottom you will see a section with the title "Save On Run". It has the following options:

  1. None: Do not automatically save any files.
  2. Current File: Save the file that is being run before executing it.
  3. All: Save changes to all open files each time a file is run.
