How do I locate my hostid so I can request a license code?

In your GAUSS home directory you should have a file named hostid.txt or myhostid.txt. This file is typically valid on a brand new installation of GAUSS.

If anything has changed on your computer, such as a new video card, memory, etc. the hostid number may change causing your License file to no longer be valid. See this link for instructions on how to regenerate your hostid number:
/support/installation/how-to-find-hostid-number/

To obtain a license code, go to /support/license/ and include the contents of that file or attach the file to your license request.
